What are Kybella injections?

Kybella is an injectable product that will dissolve fat cells in a localized area. This Lipodissolve action is made possible by deoxycholic acid, naturally present in the body, and helps to break down and absorb dietary fat.

What can I expect from a double chin fat removal treatment?
From the very first session, patients who received treatment with Kybella saw a noticeable improvement in the appearance of their chin profile. Kybella is a non-invasive, and non-surgical alternative to liposuction. The result is noticeable 4-6 weeks of first treatment. However, it might take 3-5 treatment sessions to achieve the desired result.

First of all, we take the time to listen to you in order to fully understand the goals and needs of our patients. Then, if Kybella treatment seems to be the best solution to your problem, we will proceed with a plan.
The injections are done in the fat under the chin to target and eliminate fat cells. A skin marking grid is applied to the area to be treated. We then proceed with the injections, between 15 and 25 depending on the patient. Alternatively, we use the cannula technique to decrease the chance of bruising and swelling.
It is a simple and quick injectable treatment that takes place in one session lasting 15 to 20 minutes.
It is not necessary to interrupt your daily activities after this treatment, however, it is important to note there may be some physical discomfort.
Who is the candidate?
You should be at least 21 years old, in good health, and not allergic to the active ingredient of kybella. This treatment is ideal for people who have moderate unwanted fat under the chin. You should not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
