RF microneedling is a stronger device used for skin rejuvenation compared to microneedling alone because this method combines two treatments in one device.

This cosmetic procedure can address a variety of skin conditions from scars, wrinkles, and fine lines. It can also make the skin appear firmer, smoother, and improve jawline definition for a mild double chin.
How long does RF microneedling last?
The results can last 1-2 years depending on intensity of the treatment, your body’s response and your daily skin care routine. It is recommended to have touch up treatment after one year.
How long does it take for microneedling to work?
The result of your skin appearing tighter and pore reduction should be seen immediately after the treatment. The maximum results will be visible about 3-4 months after the full treatment because the body needs time to produce collagen.
RF microneedling under eyes
RF microneedling is a collagen biostimulator and can be used to improve the skin laxity and under eye wrinkles. Combining this treatment with under eye plasma therapy is recommended to enhance the outcome.
How is RF Microneedling treatment performed in Sunny Aesthetic?
For a few days before the treatment, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure, exfoliating, waxing and shaving. It is also
advised to avert products such as retinoid, anti-inflammatory drugs (Advil, Motrin), and blood thinners (such as aspirin).
At Sunny Aesthetic, we begin by numbing the area with topical anesthetic for about 40 minutes before the procedure. After the numbing process, the area will then be cleaned and prepped. The procedure is fairly painless and typically takes approximately 30 minutes. After the treatment, we will apply either hydrating recovery cream, hyaluronic acid or PRP ( Platelet Rich Plasma).
What to do after the RF microneedling treatment ?
After the treatment, redness and swelling is expected for couple of days. It is recommended to use gentle cleanser and apply hyaluronic acid or Alastin Nectar cream for the next three days. Avoid make-up for the first 24 hours.
