What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is one of the most effective skin resurfacing procedures available on the market. This technique naturally stimulates the release of growth factors that trigger the production of collagen and elastin.
Microneedling treatment makes micro-perforations at different depths thanks to microneedles in all the layers of the dermis to stimulate the skin factory. The skin factory consists of the fibroblasts among other cells which stimulate the synthesis of new collagen and hyaluronic acid. Microneedling also increases the absorption rate of the active ingredients contained in the serums used during the session. These actives penetrate the skin 200 times more than if they were
applied to a smooth surface.
The natural regeneration of cells will help fight against the signs of aging such as sagging skin or wrinkles, but also against imperfections such as acne and pigmentation spots.

What can I expect from Microneedling treatment?

Micro needling can be used for a variety of issues. It can be practiced at any age and by anyone, and any gender since it can treat many problems such as :

Sagging skin

Production of collagen and hyaluronic acid stimulated and will densify the skin. The skin will be firmer and more toned.

Wrinkles / Crow’s feet or nasolabial folds.

The deep rehydration of the dermis will smooth the skin, tighten it and make it more radiant. Stimulating the natural regeneration process of the skin will also help to partially erase wrinkles and fine lines.

Pigment spots, age spots

Microneedling will correct pigment spots and age spots by injecting specific serums deeply into the skin like vitamin C in addition to stimulating the skin’s natural regeneration process.

Scars and Acne scars

The deep stimulation of the different mechanisms of skin renewal will reactivate the natural healing process.

Dilated pores / Blemishes and acne

Microneedling rehydrate the skin at depth and regulate the excess of sebum by the application of specific serums.

Alopecia, hair loss, loss of hair density / Irregular beards, holes in the beard

A professional microneedling session lasts on average 30 and 45 minutes. It is a painless treatment, with no side effects and no post- care social restriction period.

How long to see the effects of the microneedling?

It only takes a few days for the skin to regenerate and renew itself. And to enjoy long-lasting results, it is strongly recommended to perform 3 to 4 sessions of this treatment 15 days apart. With a complete treatment, you will see the full effects after a few months.

At Sunny Aesthetic, we will first conduct an examination of your skin (type / conditions) and discuss the issues that concern you. We place great importance on listening to our patients to understand their goals and provide quality services.

This first step will allow us to determine the right technique to use in order to achieve the best results:

When the treatment begins any make-up is removed if necessary and the area to be treated prepped. The micro-perforations will produce a slight abrasion in the different strata of the dermis. The unaffected healthy areas surrounding the micro-cuts will induce a healing process and will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin necessary for skin renewal. Brief bleeding may occur during the session but the treatment is not painful. The area is properly disinfected at the end of the treatment.

At the end of the session, a carefully chosen serum (anti-acne, moisturizing, anti-aging) will be applied. And thanks to the microneedling technique, the penetration of the active ingredients will be more effective.
