What is micro-needling?
Micro-needling is a technique that uses multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. What to expect from a microneedling treatment ?
Before microneedling the provider apply topical anesthetic to reduce the chance of pain. It is recommended to apply topical anesthetic minimum of 45 minute before treatment. Usually the procedure takes about 30 minute.

What should I expect after treatment?
Your skin will be red but majority of redness subside within 24 hours. However if more aggressive treatment was done the redness my last longer. You also may experience mild swelling and bruising which usually will be subside in two days.
