What is PRF ( Platelet Rich Fibrin)

Platelet-rich fibrin is a natural solution that is driven from your own blood to treat areas in the face that show signs of aging such as cheeks, under-eye hollow and for hair restoration in the scalp.

PRF contains a high concentration of white blood cells, fibrin and a small number of stem cells which are found in our blood stream. Platelet Rich Plasma ( PRP ) and Platelet Rich Fibrin has some basic similarities, however PRF stands out as a superior treatment option due to its higher concentration of white blood cells ,healing factors and stem cells .

How does PRF work?

The procedure starts by withdrawing one vial of blood. The vial is placed inside a centrifuge which separates PRF from other blood components. The harvested PRF will be used with or without hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to enhance facial volume and under eye hallow. We in Sunny Aesthetic Inc. specialize in this treatment and have had excellent results in this combination therapy.

After Treatment:

PRF treatment is done in a series of sessions (minimum 3) which are six to eight weeks apart. Results last up to three weeks, however volume will dissipate. Long-term effect such as skin tightening, production of collagen, and improved skin quality take up to three months to be noticed, and then last between 6 to 12 months.

In the combination therapy (PRF+HA filler) the result is seen immediately and lasts between 6 to 9 months. Additional benefit of using PRF is collagen production and skin tightening which continues to improve up to 12 months.
